Automation of Sugar Dosing

In the picturesque town of Weissbad in the Appenzell region, traditional Bärli Biber are made with great love and care. To optimize production, a modern silo for sugar dosing was installed as part of extensive renovation work. This allows sugar to be unloaded directly from the truck, making the process significantly more efficient. In addition, thanks to the new system, the exact amounts of sugar can now be dispensed directly onto two different scales, with the desired quantity easily determined by selecting the appropriate recipe for further processing. This modernization helps make the production of the delicious Bärli-Biber even smoother and more precise.
