Modernization of Schönbühl silo
As part of the modernization project, the control system of the silo system from 1971 was replaced with a new, modern control system. The four newer silos retained their existing control system, which was successfully integrated into the new system.
The added value for the customer is that they have a modern control system for the plant, for which spare parts are available again and which can be easily maintained and expanded, and which is already enabled for interfacing with other systems such as the higher-level ERP system. The standardization makes it easier to change operating personnel, and operating errors are minimized due to the higher degree of automation.
