Germ ventilator control

The manual germ air control system was replaced by a fully automatic control system. In the five existing germ lines, the pole-changing electric motors of the fans were replaced by premium asynchronous motors with IE3 efficiency and special insulation. The manual fan flaps were motorised and could now be integrated into a control concept with the adjustable fans. The germ air is controlled depending on the outside temperature. The situation-dependent speed adjustment of the fans ultimately leads to the desired energy savings, taking into account the improved efficiency of the motors. The integrated condition monitoring system from Danfoss also enables predictive maintenance of the motors and ventilation drives. The WinCC process control system and the PM-Quality quality logging system have been upgraded to the latest version so that further optimisations and maintenance can be carried out in a future-proof manner.
