Modernisation germination control

The germination plant to be modernised at the Kreimbach factory comprises two Lausmann germination lines, each with a capacity of 40 MT and 50 MT, including cooling, ventilation, upstream steeping and downstream the kilns. The existing control system from the 80s/90s was replaced by a modern DCS from automationX. The complete production chain from barley removal to discharge into the kiln bunker was modernised. Modern controllers and data acquisition now offer possibilities for further development up to the energetic optimization of process and product.
