The com­ple­te plant in Hof­matt com­pri­sing the bulk sto­rage silo and the feed mill was updated bet­ween 2006 and 2010. In 2015, a post-grin­ding system, a pel­le­ting line and a pneu­ma­tic con­vey­ing system with a capa­ci­ty of 50 metric ton­nes per hour were added to the plant. Thepneu­ma­tic con­vey­or links the plant in Hof­matt with that in Bib­lis. For this pur­po­se, a spe­cial Hof­matt-Bib­lis inter­face was deve­lo­ped in col­la­bo­ra­ti­on with Büh­ler AG. To enable the eva­lua­ti­on of the pro­duc­tion data gathe­red and pro­duct retracea­bi­li­ty, we imple­men­ted the lea­ding web-brow­ser-based BI tool Qlik in 2018 in col­la­bo­ra­ti­on with our system part­ner. In addi­ti­on, we exe­cu­ted various minor exten­si­on and opti­mi­sa­ti­on pro­jects on an ongo­ing basis.
